How can working on your putting touch improve your ability to make short putts or help you overcome the yips?

In this week's golf psychology session, mental game of golf expert and author of The Mental Game of Golf, Dr. Cohn, responds to a question from a golfer who had this to say about their game:

Do you really think that working on my touch will help me with my short putts? If so, what is the logic behind that because I only feel the yips with putts that are three feet or closer. Thanks for your answer.

Listen to the podcast now to learn what Dr. Cohn has to say about whether or not working on your touch helps with your short putts when you have the yips.
