Do you think you have the full swing yips and you stand over the ball for so long that you can't take it back, as if you're frozen?

In this week's golf psychology session, mental game of golf expert and author of The Mental Game of Golf, Dr. Cohn, responds to a question from a golfer who had this to say about his game:

I have the full swing yips. I had it in the past and now its back. I waggle by moving my feet, I call it dancing, it could take two to three waggles or it could take 25 waggles to move the club back.  I'm frozen. I had the putting yips in the past but that went away when I switched to left handed putting, it's my best stroke today. I have tried everything to figure out a trigger and I'm almost at a point where I have to give up the game I love. What suggestions do you have for how I can cure this horror?

Listen to the podcast now to learn what Dr. Cohn has to say about overcoming the full swing yips.
